Excellent and delicious lunch here, I had the Zaatar chicken with hummus and beetroot flatbread and a matcha latte. Will return for sure. Returned today! Saturday 7 December. Returned here two days in a row again while attending a training in York. Lovely to eat the zaatar chicken again, equally delicious as in December. Will be back in June again, look forwards to trying more on the menu. Thank you Naya! Lovely to be remembered as well in spite of the length of time since my last visit. Had the rice bowl with chicken, equally delicious and perfectly prepared as yesterday’s lunch. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. Sadly I do not live in York and leave today but I will come here for lunch again in March on my next visit. Thank you Naya (hope spelling is correct) and all at Bruberrie.

Gorgeous little cafe, great service and ambiance, and the best fresh meal we’ve had so far in the UK. The avocado toast with egg was fantastic and the coffee is fantastic.

Look no further in York than this beautiful cafe. Dog friendly! The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. The food was elegantly presented and tasted fantastic! A perfectly brewed pot of tea. The decor is pretty and the place is clean and inviting! I will be coming back to York just for this place! Oh and the prices are so much more reasonable than the city centre and it's five mins over the bridge opposite hotel de vin!! Get your doggos and go!!! The avocado is perfect

Absolutely lovely food. I had the Turkish eggs and they were so good definitely coming back again to try the other dishes. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. My only issue was the wait time on food but it was well worth the wait and didn’t affect my experience at all. It was a busy day and you can tell the food was fresh and there was care put into preparing it. Couldn’t recommend more !

We loved this coffee shop on our recent trip to York. The place is beautifully decorated and the lovely staff were so welcoming as soon as we walked in - the food was just gorgeous too, a really good menu with lots of choice and reasonably priced too - I had the salmon and avocado on sourdough was gorgeous - such a generous portion and my husband had the breakfast burger that he thoroughly enjoyed too. We will definitely be back on our next trip to York - make a detour to go if you can, you won't be disappointed!

It’s our first time visiting having followed them on Instagram since they opened. We had a friendly welcome and they found us a table during their busy lunchtime service. The lunch menu had a good selection of dishes to choose from. We had our orders taken and our drinks arrived quite quickly. We’d chosen the Zaatar chicken and Turkish eggs and they did not disappoint. It was tasty and fresh, and well presented! The cafe had a mixture of seats in the main area, and also in the snug at the back. Plus it’s dog friendly too!!

The most delicious afternoon tea! You could tell everything was hand made with love. The staff were lovely and friendly, couldn’t do enough for us. Beautiful cafe inside, loved the florals!
